Initial Consultation

I offer a free 15 minute phone call so we can both get a feel for each other and see if we’d like to progress to an initial session.

I am aware with some anxieties, neurodiversities and disabilities sometimes even picking up the phone can be a barrier, if this is the case you can email me with your reasons for seeking therapy and we can take it from there.

First Session

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss in more depth your reason for seeking therapy, your hopes and fears for the process as well as any unanswered questions you may have.

 

I have a set of questions I will use to guide our conversation but you are very welcome to bring yours. Towards the end of the session we can see how we both feel and make a plan for how we will progress, if that is our joint decision.

Longer term therapy

In the long term therapy is a professional and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. The goal of therapy is to help you grow a deeper awareness of yourself, understand and address your personal challenges, improve your emotional well-being, and to realise your full potential. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, identity or relationship issues, trauma, or life transitions, I am here to provide support and guidance in a safe, non-judgmental environment. 

During sessions, we will work collaboratively to get to know you, identify unhelpful patterns, investigate conflict, both internal and external, set goals, and develop coping skills that empower you to navigate difficulties and make positive changes in your life.

Therapy is not just for those in crisis; it can also be a tool for self-discovery, improving communication, and achieving balance. Sessions last 50 minutes and typically occur weekly, though the duration and frequency depend on your specific needs. Whether you’re seeking relief from emotional pain or simply want to better understand yourself, therapy offers a pathway to greater clarity, resilience, and personal well-being.
